The monsoon rain in Bangladesh dominated the penultimate and final day of the first test between South Africa and Bangladesh and the match petered out to a dreary draw as the umpires abandoned play just after lunch at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdbury Stadium in Chittagong on Saturday with South Africa on 61 without loss in their second innings. The two teams were denied a possible fascinating conclusion of the test as it was finely balanced when Stiaan van Zyl and Dean Elgar had chipped away at the 78-run first innings lead achieved by the hosts. The second test will start on the 30th July at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. RARE VIDEO: Mahela Jayawardene loses his cool!
