Dhawan, who bagged a pair in the first Test at Mohali was in full flow on Saturday, as strokes came out of his bat with the same dexterity that can be seen in a batsman in form. He scored 45 not out off 62 balls, and smashed seven boundaries all over the park to hint that it was just a lean patch that he had entered, and all seems to be fine. Jadeja and Ashwin both claimed four wickets each to rattle the South Africans once again. Jadeja claimed the wickets of Dean Elgar,  AB de Villiers, Dane Vilas and Kagiso Rabada. On the other hand, Ashwin was instrumental in the fall of the opening batsman Stiaan van Zyl, Faf du Plessis (in the same over), JP Duminy and Morne Morkel.
