Samit Patel picked up four wickets for the second day running to help Notts Outlaws into the semi-finals of the Royal London One-Day Cup after avenging Durham by 49 runs under the Duckworth/Lewis method. Patel, who helped spin his county to an LV= County Championship success over Warwickshire yesterday, produced figures of 4-11 to end Durham’s reign as trophy holders.
