Kohli who was in good form during the series managed to score only 19 runs but captained with authority and confidence. Ravindra Jadeja was also part of the side and contributed to the win by picking two crucial wickets.

The tournament was hosted by Malaysia and the finals were played in Kaula Lampur at the Kinrara Academy Oval. Kohli gave the world a glimpse of his leadership and batting ability throughout the tournament.
