Under-fire Indian cricket team got a bit of backing from former captain Sourav Ganguly who said the team has to cope with this transition phase.

According to him we need to be patient with the Indian team. Meanwhile, the Bengal tiger feels that Virender Sehwag and Harbhajan Singh have full chance of making a comeback in the Indian team.

Ganguly on Saturday urged fans to be more patient with the team in wake of a string of failures and subsequent criticism.

Ganguly said that the team is going through a transition phase as many stalwarts have retired.

He said batsman Sehwag and spinner Harbhajan, who have been axed from the team due to poor performance, would bounce back.

Ganguly had played more than 100 Test matches from 1996 to 2008 and captained the Indian team from 2000 to 2005.
