VVS Laxman thanked his coaches for working on his cricket, his selectors for showing faith in him, captains for leading well and teammates with whom he shared the dressing room.
He also thanked all his fans from India and across the world for encouraging him and showering him with love all through his cricketing journey.
VVS Laxman announced his retirement with "immediate effect" from international cricket on Saturday in Hyderabad.
