VVS Laxman’s decision to retire surprised his wife
Cricketer VVS Laxman's sudden decision to call it a day from international cricket stunned a lot of people including his wife and the rest of his family.
VVS Laxman announced his retirement from international cricket with "immediate effect" on Saturday at Hyderabad.
Shailaja said she expected her husband to play till the end of the year.
However she is happy as this will now allow the family to spend some time together.
