Virat Kohli was in a happy mood on Wednesday after he led India to a massive 203-run win against England that cut down the home team’s lead to 2-1 in the ongoing five-Test series.

The team was heading back for their hotel and Kohli had some free time which he used to sign autographs. Those who had gathered around the team bus, kept pleading with the India captain to sign autographs or click selfie with them and Kohli was more than happy to oblige.

There was one young fan who kept asking the 29-year-old for a picture continuously and Kohli made his day. A video was posted by news agency ANI on its Twitter handle where Kohli, who scored 200 runs at Trent Bridge, can be seen clicking a selfie with the young kid.

Kohli has widened his fan-base after conquering England with two centuries and 440 runs across three Tests. His poor show in England back in 2014 remained a sore in his illustrious career which he has more than corrected this time around, cementing his status as one of the legends of the game. At Edgbaston, he scored 149 in the first innings and 51 in the second as India lost a close contest. At Lord’s, India were blown away in swinging conditions and Kohli batted despite a stiff back.

At Trent Bridge, he laid the foundations of Indian win with a 97 in India’s first dig and 103 in the second. India are aiming for a historic comeback in the series with the fourth Test slated to start next week from August 30.
