Among the Indian cricketers who got rid of their bachelor’s tag in 2016, one was Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja, a regular member of the Indian side, had a comparatively low-key marriage ceremony on April 17 that was restricted to the near and dear ones of the families of bride and groom. Jadeja went for arranged marriage and his partner Rivaba Solanki was a find of his parents, as the cricketer mentioned. However, he also said that he found everything he was looking for in his beautiful wife, making it a happy union. Recently, after eight months of the duo’s marital life, a video of the ceremony has been made public.

In the video, there are glimpse of the glamorous venues. The video covers the rituals of sangeet, mehendi and the main wedding event. There are clips from the reception of the couple as well, where Jadeja spoke about his wife, “I have found in Rivaba all that I have always wanted in my life partner. It is true, like everyone says, arranged marriages can be successful. I will try to fulfil all her requirements and dreams.” While during the wedding ceremony, Rivaba was seen wearing a traditional red lehenga and Jadeja opted for golden sherwani, in the reception, both went for black and gold combination, matching each other well.

Here is the video:

Jadeja has been one of the most important members of the squad. His contributions were pivotal as he claimed 10 wickets and scored a half-century in India’s win in Chennai that helped the side complete a 4-0 victory over England in the recently concluded Test series.
