What are the odds that an old man turns up at a practice ground where young cricketers are into their routine practice and surprises everyone by hitting successive boundaries? Well, that is what happened in Delhi recently. A bunch of young boys and girls found an old man putting in his own insights into their practice session. Annoying at first, the man fumbled to bowl a single delivery and had the bat flying off his hands to connect. But then, after putting on the pads, he went on hitting picturesque shots outside the park, shocking everyone present at the venue. VVS Laxman: I was a good boy who sledged people

While the cricketers and their coach were left in utter disbelief, it later turned out that the stranger was none other than Indian all-rounder Yusuf Pathan. Shock turned into surprise and the young brigade could not help but be immensely happy to find the star among them. The session then continued with Yusuf giving away autographs to the ones present there and thereafter clicking a cheerful group photo with the players. Here is the video that made many of the aspiring cricketers smile

Yusuf Pathan recently was selected as the first Indian to play in the Hong Kong T20 Blitz tournament, a tournament that involves names like Kumar Sangakkara, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Darren Sammy, Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi among others. However, he was later withdrawn by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Yusuf is expected to next appear in Indian Premier League (IPL) 10 for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
