West Bengal coach Ashok Malhotra is confident that his team will create history by winning the Ranji Trophy for the first time in 24 years. They last won it way back in 1989. He said that the West Bengal team is very much focused and a happy unit at the moment.

 

Malhotra, who was appointed as the coach of West Bengal at the end of 2012 also said that they are just three matches away from winning the 2013-14 Ranji Trophy. In their quarter-final encounter, they are taking on former Ranji Trophy champions, Railways at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
