West Indies arrived in Kolkata as they gear up for their practice match ahead of the first Test against India in the same city. India and West Indies will face-off in the first of two Tests at Kolkata from November 6.

The whole series is being built up as Sachin Tendulkar's last and all the talk has been about it. At the same time, the men from the Caribbean are determined to spoil the Indian legend's party.

PTI quoted Richie Richardson, "First of all we want to express our gratitude for inviting us to play a marquee Test series against India. The entire Caribbean team are elated to play the farewell series of Sachin. Having said that, we want to make it clear that we have come here with a mission to win the series. We will try our best to stop him from scoring runs. We will not let him an inch. He has to earn every run."
