England all-rounder Moeen Ali was delighted to see captain Alastair Cook score his first hundred in Test cricket since May 2013 and says his 26th Test ton means lot to everybody – players, management and fans. Earlier on day one of the third Test against the West Indies in Barbados, England won the toss and elected to bat – reaching 240-7 at the close. Cook, who batted for over five hours, made a brilliant 105 and was also involved in a 98-run stand with Moeen, who made 58 from 130 balls.

England finished on a score of 240 for the loss of seven wickets at the end of the first day’s play during the third and final Test against West Indies at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
