Yuvraj Singh, Ashok Dinda star in Duleep trophy semi-final

Yuvraj Singh and Ashok Dinda were the stars of the Duleep Trophy semi-finals as they put in stellar performances for their respective sides.

However, their fortunes are quite contrasting — while Dinda's East Zone have qualified for the final, Yuvraj's double ton wasn't enough to take the North Zone through.

Sourav Ganguly once said that Dinda is the best fast bowler in India and one cannot deny the fact that he has been very consistent.

His seven wicket haul for East Zone in their game against South Zone helped them get through comfortably.

Chasing 239 for victory in the fourth innings, South finished with 85 for 8 — with Dinda recording phenomenal figures of seven for 26.

East won this game by virtue of their first innings lead.
