The stylish all rounder Yuvraj Singh returns to Test cricket after a gap of one year.

As Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first against England in the first Test at Ahmedabad, he believed that Yuvraj Singh's contribution will be crucial for India's success in the four-match Test series against England.

Yuvraj Singh last played for India against West Indies in November 2011.
