There are some players who always reserve their best for the big-stage. Yuvraj Singh is one such player. He was always vital cog in the Indian side who provided immense value with bat and could be more than a handful with the ball, but during World Cups Yuvraj never failed to futher step his game up. He would perform consistently and perform big.

In perfect display of this very ability to rise up to the occasion, Yuvraj Singh took on a strong Australian side in the semifinals of the 2007 World T20. When Yuvraj came in to bat India had scored 41 runs out of 8 overs at the loss of 2 wickets. Not only were two batsmen back in the hut but the scoring rate was pathetic by T20 standards.

But just when India appeared to be headed to a pitiful total Yuvraj Singh stepped in and without hesitation took the attack to the Aussie bowlers smashing them all over the park. By the time Yuvraj was out India had reached 155 for 4 out of 17.3 overs. The state of the game had drastically changed and all it took Yuvraj was 30 balls to do that. India won and Yuvraj was Man of the match.
