Amitabh Bachchan to commentate during India-Pakistan contest in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

The legendary actor will commentate during the India-Pakistan contest in World Cup.

Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor, will be seen in a new avatar during the ICC World Cup 2015. Bachchan, who is an avid cricket fan, will take up commentary during the all important India-Pakistan contest in Adelaide. He will be seen sharing the microphone with the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, Kapil Dev and Harsha Bhogle.

Bachchan will be commentating with Star Sports, a report in Times of India mentioned. His movie Shamitabh is releasing on February 6, and the India-Pakistan contest is on February 15. Bachchan was quoted, “This country’s emotions are ruled by two things — cricket and cinema. For me, it’s an exciting time on both fronts. My movie is releasing on February 6 and then, I have the privilege of making my commentary debut.”

Bachchan has been a cricket fan for a long time and his association with the sport is famous. He has appeared in commercials alongside Sachin Tendulkar in the past. He has also been tweeting actively during India’s matches and had also celebrated on the streets when India won the ICC World Cup 2011.
