A cross-seamer from Dwarshius, rolling his fingers over the ball as well and digging it in short over off and middle. Lhuan-dre Pretorius gives up early and does not even try to get back. Carey, behind the stumps, collects it quickly and does the rest. South Africa are three down and in some trouble.

Adam Zampa to Tristan Stubbs, OUT! CAUGHT! Finally, some respite for Australia. Adam Zampa offers a bit more flight and bowls it on a fullish length around off. Tristan Stubbs back away to open up the off side but the ball grips a bit and Stubbs ends up slicing it up towards backward point. Corbin Bosch is not expecting that and looks to heave across the line but is beaten all ends up. The ball smashes into the upper part of the middle stump and South Africa are now 6 down for 197.

Sean Abbott to Kagiso Rabada, OUT! RUN OUT! Good work in the end by Sean Abbott to get the run out but 11 runs come off the final over. A slower ball, slightly into the deck and angled across off. Kagiso Rabada fails to get a bat on it and the batters look for a bye. Alex Carey misses the shy at the batter's end but the ball trickles to the bowler. Marsh looks to muscle it out of the park, ends up miscuing it high toward the long-on region. Tristan Stubbs comes in from the ropes, settles under it, and takes a good catch. Australia are three down.

Aiden Markram to Travis Head, OUT! CAUGHT! Excellent composure in the deep from Lhuan-dre Pretorius. Aiden Markram drops it a bit short and fires it in at the stumps. Travis Head rocks back again and pulls it in front of square but hits it flat. The ball seems to b sailing over but Pretorius tip-toes back, takes the catch and manages to slam the brakes just inside the ropes. Markram picks up a big early wicket for his side.

Kwena Maphaka to Cameron Green, OUT! CAUGHT! Kwena Maphaka gets the last laugh in his battle with Cameron Green and Australia are 2 down inside 4 overs. Short of a length and at the body, skidding through. Green leans back to pull but hits it flat and hard, a bit uppish and to the right of mid-wicket. Nqabayomzi Peter takes a stellar diving catch, low down to his right and looks to celebrate wildly but the ball pops out of his hands. Thankfully for him, he had it in control for long enough and Green has to depart.

Kagiso Rabada to Tim David, OUT! CAUGHT! Kagiso Rabada gets the big fish! The captain was looking for a wicket, and the strike bowler delivers for his side. Slower ball on a length and around off. David was shaping up to slap it over the infield, but it comes off the toe end and hits straight to Rassie van der Dussen at the extra cover region. He makes no mistake and a blistering knock from Tim David comes to an end.
