Amul takes a dig on suspended IPL teams – CSK and RR

The Supreme Court appointed Lodha committee suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchises Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) for two years after finding them guilty in corrupt practices. The panel suspended both the teams from participating in any cricket activities for a period of two years along with their former officals Gurunath Meiyappan and Raj Kundra facing a life-time ban from the game.

The judgement clearly shows the intention of the panel was to safeguard the purity of the pristine game and bring viewers interests back.

Just after a day of verdict, Amul came up with a caricature taking a dig at both the suspended IPL teams with the headline, “Banned baj gaya?” Further the copy also says, Fix a spot of breakfast!
