Teenage off-spinner Nayeem Hasan became the youngest ever player to take five wickets on debut as Bangladesh bowled out the West Indies for 246 in the first Test in reply to the hosts’ 324.
Nayeem, who was 17 years 355 days old at the start of the game, finished with 5-61, helping the home side take a 78-run first innings lead.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan was the other successful bowler for the home side in Chittagong with 3-43. Shimron Hetmyer and Shane Dowrich both scored 63 runs for West Indies.
West Indies had stuttered to 187-6 by tea after Hetmyer hit his 63 off 47 balls in a quickfire counter-attack at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
