A soon-to-be-launched Bangladeshi channel, Bangladesh Broadcast Centre (BBC) will make a documentary titled England’s Sons, based on the brutal assault of the England’s national men’s team in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015.
It’s learnt that the film would feature interviews of the chief assaulters — Rubel Hossain, Mahmudullah, Brendon McCullum and Tim Southee. The news has created an outrage in Britain with the Queen Elizabeth threatening to give-up on the monarchy if the video isn’t banned. Of course to ‘save the Queen’ and defend the country from further embarrassment, the British government has decided to ban the documentary.
“English cricket has been ridiculed a lot lately and we won’t allow the world to see this. The fact remains that it’s our game,” said an outraged butler from Buckingham Palace.
Last week a documentary, directed by a British journalist on a sensitive issue by original BBC was banned by the Indian government. The reporter learnt that the English cricket documentary by new Bangladesh Broadcast Centre is an attempt to make the Indian government happy so that they provide Bangladeshis more Aadhar cards and also shows the nation little mercy in their possible quarterfinal clash at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) next week.
