The Whistle Podu Express carrying Yellow army departed for MCA Stadium for their first match in Pune. Around a 1,000 fans boarded the Whistle Podu Express while Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has also arranged for complimentary passes for the match as well as free food and accommodation.

The normal travellers were taken by a pleasant surprise seeing this. A 56-year old uncle who was not a big cricket buff told us, “My son studies in Pune. It’s his convocation tomorrow. I had been trying to book train tickets via IRCTC but just couldn’t. I tried to do by tatkal but even that failed. But then when I was here at the station, I discovered that CSK had organised a Whistle Podu express to Pune. It came like a heaven sent blessing to me. I would like to recommend to the government to hand over the struggling IRCTC website to the management of CSK. They will do a fine job!”

Another diehard CSK fan overheard the conversation and jumped in saying, “The uncle is right. CSK has got the best management team. Also, MS Dhoni used to work as a ticket collector before becoming Indian cricketer. I think it would be only fair if Indian government confers him an honorary title of Railway Minister. IRCTC website sucks. It’s the only place in India which doesn’t give you a reservation!”
