Pune Warriors India were smashed to smithereens by Chris Gayle at his primordial, savage best. As he raced away to the fastest and highest century in the history of T20 cricket, the match assumed a surreal air, as though out of a fantasy league virtual game, while female fans swooned in the stands as Gayle effortlessly launched the ball out of the stadium.
After the carnage, we visited the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) camp to see what the mood was like:
