After the Test series finished 2-2, Pakistan performed miserably in the One-Day International (ODI) series, losing it 4-1. Well, the tour has not ended yet for Pakistan as they are set to play a Twenty20 International (T20I) against the host England and would be looking the end the tour on a positive note. On paper, England surely looks much stronger than Pakistan in this format because of some good hard hitter of the ball and good bunch of bowlers and all-rounders in their side. On the other hand, Pakistan are currently struggling to get proper balance in their side. Meanwhile, let us have a look at some of the interesting numbers ahead of the one-off T20I between England and Pakistan at Old Trafford.

1. England captain Eoin Morgan needs two more catches become first England cricketer to take 30 catches in T20Is. All of his 28 dismissals were catches as he never inflicted a run out. If this happens, he will become 20th cricketer to have taken 30 or more catches in T20Is.

4. Shoaib Malik is only 32 runs away from completing his 1,500 T20I runs. He will become the third Pakistan batsman to achieve this landmark after Umar Akmal and Mohammad Hafeez.

5. This will be Pakistan’s 14th T20I against England. This is the joint most number of matches played by any team against England in T20Is. New Zealand and West Indies have already played most T20Is against England with 14 matches and Pakistan will join them with this game.

6. Out of 13 T20Is so far, England have won on 10 occasions, which includes one tied game as well, where they won in an one over eliminator. Pakistan have won only on three occasions.

7. Six matches have been played so far at Old Trafford and two out of them ended without any result because of rain interruption, while one was abandoned. That abandoned match was the only T20I to be played in the month of September at Old Trafford, which was between England and Australia.
