Geoff Lawson is a former Australian fast bowler who took 180 wickets from 46 Tests and 88 wickets from 79 One-Day Internationals. An intelligent cricketing brain, Lawson succeeded Bob Woolmer as Pakistan’s coach in July 2007 before his tenure came to an acrimonious end.

Gideon Haigh, like Lawson, is an Australian. Haigh is arguably cricket’s best-known historian with David Firth.  He has written numerous books on cricket. Some of his books include, “The Cricket War: The Inside Story of Kerry Packer’s World Series Cricket”, “The Border Years”, “Silent Revolutions: Writings on Cricket History”, “Inside Story: Unlocking Australian Cricket’s Archives”, “Sphere of Influence: Writings on cricket and its discontents” and “On Warne”. High has also written for various media majors around the world.
