The sixth match of Asia Cup T20 2016 was played between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE) at Mirpur in Dhaka. Batting first, UAE’s top order once again failed but middle order batsman Shaiman Anwar played a crucial knock of 46 runs. Further, Mohammad Usman and UAE skipper Amjad Javed added 46 runs in just 32 balls and led their team to a decent total of 129 for the loss of six wickets at the bowler-friendly track. In return, UAE’s captain Javed took three quick wickets in the first four overs of the match and put Pakistan on the backfoot.
