Hilarious: Brad Hodge sings a Gujarati Garba song

Indian Premier League (IPL) is much more than just cricket. It gives the foreign contingents to blend with the local Indian culture. Over the last many years, Australian cricketer Brad Hodge has been a part of many IPL franchises and has served them with distinction. Often regarded as one of the greatest exponents of T20 cricket, Hodge is now the coach of the new franchise, Gujarat Lions (GL).

Hodge along with two cricketers from the side, the 17-year-old Ishan Kishan and experienced Praveen Kumar, paid a visit to the Radio Mirchi studio for a promotional event and they had a good time RJ Ishita.

The RJ asked Hodge to repeat the lines of a Gujarati Garba song and the Australian sportingly did so. Kishan and Praveen could not control their laughter. We already know that Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo will be doing a Garba dance at teammate Jadeja’s wedding, do not be surprised if Hodge ends up singing the song there. Watch this hilarious video:

It has been a good start to GL’s campaign as they started with a win against Kings XI Punjab. On Thursday, Raina’s men will face Rising Pune Supergiants and it will be the first time in IPL when MS Dhoni and Raina will find themselves in opposite camps.
