Hilarious: When Chris Gayle celebrated the ‘winning wicket’ with the opponent

When it comes to Twenty20 (T20) cricket, Chris Gayle is not just the king of fours and sixes, but also of antics. It is as if the ‘Universe Boss’ believes in wholesome entertainment and thus never shies away from doing weird things on and off the field to keep the smile on his fans’ face.

Playing currently in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), Gayle is captaining his home side Jamaica Tallawahs (JT) and doing a hell of a job. His team is at present the table topper with six wins in eight matches and has become the first team to enter the final. His side’s latest win came on Thursday against Barbados Tridents (BT), where Gayle did something unusual in the end. ALSO SEE: Photos: Chris Gayle showing off his unique ‘blonde’ beard!

After failing with the bat, Gayle’s golden arm fetched him the final wicket in his team’s victory. The wicket happened to be of Ravi Rampaul, who had just hit Gayle for a six on the previous delivery. When he tried for a similar shot the next ball, Shakib caught him at deep midwicket.

Gayle broke into celebration after the win but the only difference here was that he decided to celebrate it with the opposition player Rampaul. The burly Jamaican jumped on to the back of Rampaul and took a little joy ride. It was all in good spirit as the two friends quickly had a handshake which ensured all was smooth.
