It was a wonderful moment indeed; as the team skipper MS Dhoni also went on to surpass Sourav Ganguly’s record of eight consecutive wins in World Cup matches. With nine, Dhoni stands second in the list with legendary Clive Lloyd and is behind Ricky Ponting.  (ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: Points Table)

After India’s empathic eight-wicket victory, Amul came up with an ad, which showed the mascot with World Cup patterns in her attire, writing India’s points (10) with butter, on a slice of bread placed on top of the chart. The copy says, ‘On top of every table.’ This of course has a dual meanings, first being India on top of the table and secondly Amul butter is on top of every table. It also mentions – Amul, quarter it! Again it implies wishing Team India success in the quarterfinal and also cutting a fourth of the butter. Truly, it’s Amul at its creative best!
