The final of Asia Cup Twenty20 (T20) 2016 was played between India and Bangladesh. In a rain-affected match, MS Dhoni won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat. Indian bowlers started well once again, and Ashish Nehra and Jasprit Bumrah removed the Bangladeshi openers inside 5 overs. After that Sabbir Rahman held up one, but got hardly any support till Mahmudullah walked out. Mahmudullah’s cameo helped Bangladesh to reach 120 from 15 overs. In reply, Indian lost Rohit Sharma in the second over, but Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli added 94 for the second wicket.
