This is Holder’s second fifty batting at No. 9 in as many matches. In the previous match against South Africa at Sydney Cricket Ground, Holder had scored a 48-ball 56 to lift West Indies from 63 for seven to 151. In the process Holder became only the second batsman (after Lance Klusener) to register two fifties batting at No. 9 or lower. Live Scorecard: India vs West Indies

Holder also became only the sixth batsman to score two or more fifties batting at No. 9 or lower. While Klusener leads the way with three fifties, Holder’s teammates Andre Russell and Sammy have two apiece, as do Brendon McCullum and Kyle Mills. However, Holder is the only batsman to score back-to-back fifties at No. 9 in all One-Day Internationals. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015: POINTS TABLE
