After two disastrous tours to South Africa and New Zealand, India came back to the sub-continent to put an improved show in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Asia Cup 2014. However, the team managed to beat only Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

India first began with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh on February 26. They then lost by a narrow two-wicket margin against Sri Lanka on February 28.

Then in an eagerly-awaited clash against Pakistan on March 2, India lost by one wicket. India then beat Afghanistan by eight wickets in an inconsequential match on March 5.

Here’s looking at the 13 men, who were supposed to put an improved show.
