Television actress Mandira Bedi’s fame magnified when she appeared on the pre-match cricket shows during the 2003 World Cup. She continued in that role until the 2007 World Cup and during the ICC Champions Trophy 2006, her dresses caught the attention. From wearing saris to formal dresses to other outfits, Mandira’s style statements became popular in India. Given that she used to host cricket shows, the word got around and many fans appreciated her style.  The repetitive “a” in the above ad is a subtle reference to Mandira’s presence in Max’s Extraaa Innings.
