Tarot reader Shruti Chopra looks into her cards to give CricketCountry.com readers exclusive insights into what lies ahead in the IPL matches. In the below piece, she dwells into the Delhi Daredevils vs Kings XI Punjab game – the only  IPL match on Tuesday.

Delhi Daredevils

The Daredevils wish to dominate and dictate the match, especially since they believe that they have the right Ace of Swords plans in place and have the Emperor to impose authority. They will need to be careful of trying to implement too many ideas, as this will confuse them. Like the Three of Pentacles, they will be heavily reliant on strong, individual performances to see them through.

Virender Sehwag will have a shaky start. Like the Three of Wands, he will need his partner to support him through the initial phase. It will allow him to ease into his natural game. He will take off and play a good innings. As a captain, he will be willing to experiment and take risks. He will be commanding and will direct his team well.

Key players

David Warner is looking aggressive and commanding like the Ace of Wands. He will put together a strong partnership and build his innings well.

Mahela Jayawardene will go down the attacking route. He is looking to make amends, and will be able to do so. It will be a good day with the bat for him.

Naman Ojha will be steady, yet he will feel the pressure of responsibility with the bat and gloves.

Irfan Pathan is like the Strength card, therefore, he will have the right amount of aggression and control in his bowling. A steady day for him.

Morne Morkel will be commanding and, like the Magician, he will be quietly deceiving too.

Varun Aaron will be balanced and economical with his bowling. He will need to keep his focused intact towards the end of his spell, as he may lose way.

Kings XI Punjab

Like the Four of Swords, Kings XI face a mental challenge. They will show moments of mental weakness and will find this slowing their progress down. On the up-side, they will have the right balance, which will keep them fighting. TheFour of Cups shows that they are looking to make this opportunity count and will rely on team work, which will be the key. They are eager for this success, therefore they will fight hard. Their fielding will need to step as there will be some elementary mistakes.

David Hussey will be aggressive and calculative in his batting display. Like the Ace of Pentacles, he will look to lead from the front and bring direction to the team’s innings. As a captain, he will be positive and with the Nine of Pentacles, he is looking to nurture his team in the right direction.

Key players

Shaun Marsh is going to ease himself into his innings. He will be like the Hierophant – clinical and look to build up his attack, just like the King of Pentacles.

Nitin Saini, like the Moon, will be targeted by the opposition. To overcome this, he will need to stick to his strongQueen of Swords plans. It will be a temperamental day with the bat for him.

Piyush Chawla has a lot of good, strong plans. In fact, he will need to concentrate more on the’ implementation of the plan, rather than thinking too much about it.

Azhar Mahmood is feeling secure and balanced like the Temperance, which is why he will feel comfortable to take risks in his batting and bowling. The risks will pay off.

Praveen Kumar will bowl wisely and in good rhythm. The Two of Wands does show him bowling well in tandem with another bowler.

Parvinder Awana will be the other bowler who will bowl well in tandem. He won’t be the most economical, but he will bring through successes for the team.

Who holds advantage?

Kings XI Punjab.
