Mumbai Indians (MI) face Delhi Daredevils (DD) in a must-win affair to stay in the contention of a Playoff spot in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. Match No. 47 will be played at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam, where MI have a horrible record in this edition and will hope for a turnaround against DD. MI will find it tough to bat against DD’s decent bowling attack. However, DD will be wary of MI’s batting prowess. This encounter promises to deliver mouth-watering contests between bat and ball. Vishal Mehra lists down the key battle that will be keenly followed in MI vs DD game. Full Cricket Scorecard: Delhi Daredevils  vs  Mumbai Indians , 47th T20 Match, IPL 2016

Quinton de Kock vs Mitchell McClenaghan: DD will hope for Quinton de Kock to continue his good form with the bat. de Kock  has so far amassed 341 runs in just 9 matches and has been the back bone for DD. Mitchell McClenaghan, on the other hand, has been MI’s top bowler when it comes to number of wickets . McClenaghan so far has picked 17 wickets and will be expected to dismiss de Kock with his left-arm out-swingers. de Kock has been problematic against the ball coming in and McClenaghan will look to exploit it.

Karun Nair vs Krunal Pandya: This will be the battle of the Ks. Karun Nair has been one of the most promising batsman for DD. Nair so far has played crucial part in DD’s resurgence with the 20s and 30s that have helped other batsmen rally around him. Krunal Pandya has stepped up his game this season with the ball, having impressed one and all with his smart and wily bowling. Krunal has been on the most economical for MI. It would be interesting to see how Nair manages to outwit Krunal with his aggressive batsmanship.

Amit Mishra vs Kieron Pollard: Amit Mishra this season has been the star bowler for DD. He has constantly been at the batsmen looping  the ball and asking them to hit the ball out of the park. This tempting challenge  has only made the batsmen eager to score runs. Kieron Pollard, on the hand, has been MI’s savoir in the few matches. Pollard played amazingly against Royal Challengers Bangalores (RCB) and scored a 17-ball fifty. Mishra-Pollard affair is much inciting to bring fans into the stadium.

Chris Morris vs Rohit Sharma:  Chris Morris has been swashbuckling with his all-round performance. He has been the go-to bowler for Zaheer Khan in the death overs and opening spell.  Morris with his impeccable line and length has consistently troubled the batmen. Rohit, on the other hand, has been the most popular batsman in MI line-up. Rohit has so far collected 428 runs for MI and have heavily relied on him.
