Poll: Do you think Rohit Sharma deserved a Grade A in the BCCI annual contract 2015-16?

The recently released Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) annual contract for 2015-16 has made some surprising yet expected changes. Big names like Suresh Raina and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were demoted from Grade A to Grade B in their yearly contract for the term 2015-16. Cricketers falling in the Grade A get a yearly salary of INR 1 crore whereas the ones in B get an annual payment of INR 50 lakhs. Rohit Sharma, now considered to be one of the backbones of India’s batting, didn’t receive any promotion as he has been retained in Grade B.

Raina and Bhuvneshwar paid price for their poor form in the recent times. There have been a lot of speculations regarding Rohit’s retention in Grade B. Meanwhile, his Mumbai teammate and India’s one of the most consistent performer in the recent times Ajinkya Rahane too has been upgraded to Grade A.
