Sachin Tendulkar is well-known, but Amul is very, very well-known!

Amul came out with a witty cartoon on the tennis superstar.

In July 2014, Maria Sharapova was asked whether she knew who Sachin Tendulkar was. She replied that she didn’t know who Tendulkar was. It was enough for fanatical Tendulkar fans to go on the rampage on the social media against Sharapova. Her Facebook page was flooded with hate messages.

Amul came out with a witty cartoon asking the tennis superstar to “share-a-poha with Sachin”. But the best was to follow when the ad said that Amul is “Known Everywhere!” Talk of grabbing a brand building opportunity — how clever!
