Shruti Chopra dwells into her tarot cards to see what lies ahead in the South Africa vs Sri Lanka ICC T20 World Cup game on Saturday.

The Six of Wands represents a strong winning attitude from the Australians. They believe they have a strong momentum and will wish to further capitalise on this. Oddly, there is an underlying factor – nerves. The Nine of Wands and Two of Swordsare two cards that clearly show the anxiousness they feel because of the opposition. This can cause them to be blinded on how to approach their game plans with clarity. They will need to step up all areas of their game to get over this phase.

George Bailey will need to keep a check on his plans. Like the Page of Cups, he will have a tendency to lose his way and forget his team’s natural ability to deploy aggressive tactics. As a batsman, like the Seven of Cups, he will struggle with bouts of confusion – this will reflect in his shot selection. A tough day for him overall, despite having strong team support he will need to regain himself quickly.

Key players

Shane Watson will take his game to the next level. Like the Hermit and the Wheel ofFortune, he will be wise and will implement his ideas cleverly and with patience.

David Warner is like the Knight of Pentacles – steady and ready to build his innings. He will manage to do this quite well through instinctive changes in his game plan.

Brad Hogg will be deceptive. In fact, the King of Cups shows his ability to apply all his knowledge to see him have a good day.

Pat Cummins is aggressive and adaptable. He will grow in confidence, and like theSun, he will provide positive results.

Michael Hussey will be on top of his game. He will fulfill his responsibilities well and will have a confident game.

West Indies

The West Indians are looking very confident and like the Seven of Wands are eager to gain a strong hold over the game. Such positivity is great, but with the Five of Swords & Cups appearing, they will need to be watchful of not getting too confident. They will need to concentrate on the basics, otherwise they may find their own errors costing them. They will have a good day with the ball, but will need to be careful with their fielding.

Captain Darren Sammy is willing to make quick changes, but he will need to make sure his team can keep up with his plans. Like the Four of Pentacles he will be steady with the bat and accumulate at a regular pace. Unfortunately he will not be able to push this promising innings.

Key players

Chris Gayle will have to apply himself like the Eight of Pentacles – he will need to gradually build his innings to see it into a big score. It may not be a free flowing innings today.

Dwayne Bravo will have a good all round performance. With the Three of Swordsdrawn, he will not be able to see it through to the level expected of him.

Sunil Narine will take risks in his bowling, which will pay off well.

Kieron Pollard, like the Knight of Pentacles be strong, steady and reliable all round.

Fidel Edwards will need to gain better control as the pressure may get to him, as explained by the Ten of Wands.

Who will win?
