Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) take on Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in Match 22 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016. Both teams will clash at the Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium which will be SRH’s fourth home game. SRH has been ably led by David Warner after getting of to a poor start, losing their opening two ties. Since that debacle SRH have only risen and notched up wins against more formidable teams such as Rising Pune Supergiants and Mumbai Indians to name a few. Vishal Mehra, lists down the probable XI that SRH might take the field against RPS.  Full Cricket Scorecard: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Rising Pune Supergiants, IPL 2016, Match 22 at Hyderabad

Top-Order: SRH opening order looks more of less sorted with Shikhar Dhawan also coming in form, with David Warner readying going all guns blazing. Warner has been the main reason behind SRH’s resurgence in IPL 9 after their initial losses. Warner so far has amassed 294 runs in five matches at an astounding average of 168.00, while Dhawan has found his rhyme cracking his first half-century against Gujarat Lions. Coming in at No.3 is Aditya Tare, who will want to make up for his poor show in the last , hastily getting himself out for just a duck.

Middle-Order: Eoin Morgan has taken upon himself the middle-order batting responsibilities to guide his team to a respectable total. Morgan so far has been in good touch but has failed to make it big. Deepak Hooda who was expected to one of the most promising domestic talents has so far failed to make the most off it. His bowling has been the only thing that has so far been decent and he would hope that his batting comes into play too. Moises Henriques, has been the most consistent players for SRH after Warner. His bowling has been the high point of his IPL 9 season. Naman Ohja, who has always been a good lower-order batsmen for them, has not received that many opportunities to bat so far in this season. Ojha struck 37 valuable runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in SRH’s second match.

Bowling:  SRH’s strong point has been their bowling with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mustifizur Rahman in-form. Both Kumar and Rahman have bowled their heart out with the former picking up 8 wickets and latter scalping 7 wickets. Rahman has been the bowler to watch out in this year’s IPL, with his miser economy of 5.75. Bipul Sharma will make place for Karn Sharma who has been on and off so far in this season, but with RPS being a heavy batting side his experience will add to their bowling prowess. Barinder Sran has been fairly decent with the ball, Sran picked up 3 wickets against Mumbai Indians. Since then he has been on the higher side of economy, will hope for an encore of his performance.

Sunrisers Hyderabad playing XI: David Warner (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Aditya Tare, Eoin Morgan, Deepak Hooda, Moises Henriques, Naman Ohja (wk), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Karn Sharma, Barinder Sran and Mustifizur Rahman
