This Sunday saw a massacre at Wankhede Stadium. A blitzkrieg. Whatever the headlines might tell you the Indian spinners have blamed Shiv Sena for the run riot! Why not? They have their reasons. After managing to shoo away the Pakistani delegates, umpires and commentators, Indian spinners were expecting that they the party would still protest Imran Tahir’s participation in the match. Tahir does play for South Africa but he is Pakistan-born and has played a lot of cricket in that country.

The writer sneaked into the Indian dressing room and managed to speak to Harbhajan Singh, who said, “I remember playing that Kotla Test in 1999 when Shiv Sena had dug the pitch. It was turning square and we all known what Kumble paaji did there. Our very own Mumbaikar team director Ravi Shastri told us that Shiv Sena would dig the pitch as Imran Tahi, a Pakistan-born player was playing at Wankhede. Let alone digging up, they didn’t even roughen it up. The ball was just not turning!”

A Shiv Sena henchman wandering around the stadium and didn’t wish to be named claimed that Sena know their cricket like any avid Mumbaikar and hit back at Harbhajan. He said, “We understand out cricket. Look at Imran Tahir’s bowling averages, we thought digging the wicket may in fact help him spin it more and with Indian batting being inconsistent, we decided against.”

Taking a dig at the Mumbai Indians spinner Harbhajan, he said, “Bhajji is a crap. Indian bowlers should learn to hit targets from us. Learn some throws by watching how accurately we throw ink on the faces of people!”

According to our sources leg-spinner Amit Mishra along with Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohit Sharma visited the Marine Lines police station during the innings break and it’s believed that they have registered an FIR against AB de Villiers for molesting them on the field.
