The Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) – Delhi Daredevils (DD) clash in the ninth season of Indian Premier League (IPL), which was scheduled to be played in Visakhapatnam, always, had a threat of interruption by rain. It did come true, as rain stopped the play for close to an hour. However, before the clouds opened up and stopped the game, something else caused an unexpected delay.
Man’s best friend dog, who has in the past made numerous appearances on the cricket field and halted the game, once again made its way in to the field during RPS’ innings. The animal not only entered the park, but made itself extremely comfortable.

When some DD fielders tried to shoo it out of the park, the dog started running wildly all over it and refused to get caught. It looked as if it was in a playful mood. DD’s Australian recruit Nathan Coulter-Nile even tried to catch it with a towel but that only made for a funny scene.

Finally, the dog went out of the playing field on its own. But till the time it was inside the field, it made for a hilarious view.
