The Australian cricket team is never short of pranksters in its ranks. Shane Warne, Andrew Symonds, Peter Siddle once ruled the roost when it came to pulling pranks on the teammates. Even as they are not around, the team isn’t devoid of its share of fun.

The likes of David Warner, Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell keep the team in good spirits with their harmless (mostly) pranks. And now, there is a new addition to this list of pranksters — their latest batting sensation Usman Khawaja.

The Pakistan-born batsman recently pulled a prank in full public view and the poor recipient happened to be the rookie Adam Zampa. During the third ODI of the recently concluded Chappell-Hadlee Trophy, Khawaja was caught on the camera giving Zampa an unorthodox welcome during the customary pre-match national anthem. Watch the video below to know what exactly Khawaja did to Zampa.
