Cricket is a funny game and sometimes instances on the field make the game funnier. Many a times celebrations get awkward as well as embarrassing. In the below video which is another episode of Optus Sport’s Caught Behind, some hilarious moments captured on camera are featured. This particular episode, which is titled ‘Breaking the Windies’, has Chris Rogers, Adam Zwar and Nazeem Hussain commenting over the instances. The video was posted by Australian Cricket Team on Facebook.
The recently ended Frank Worrell Trophy between Australia and West Indies saw the home side winning the series, which witnessed a lot of hilarious moments duly captured by the shutterbugs, 2-0. To kill it all, even cameramen fell victim to some of these.
In the start, Carlos Brathwaite’s ecstatic celebration ends up bringing down the skipper Jason Holder on ground. And moments later, a commentator can be seen rolling from his ground scooter. One of the funniest was when the cameraman lost his balance and freaked the wicketkeeper and first-slip fielder with his fall.
Nathan Lyon was the stand out performer as he was seen hugging Joe Burns instead of Mitchell Marsh after the latter picked a wicket and not Burns. In the end, Lyon was again spotted as he was denied of a high five during the team celebration. And do not miss out of the fantastic catch taken by a spectator in the stands which saw him falling over couple of viewers. Undoubtedly, this is one of the best compilation of humorous cricket accidents.
