England will take on West Indies in the 15th game of the ICC World T20 2016 at Wankhede Satdium in Mumbai on Wednesday. The last time when these two giants met in a T20 game was way back in March 2014, where England tasted success. Both the teams have enough gun powder to win this game and have lifted the title once in their cricket chronicle. West Indies hail of some massive hitters of the game whereas, England are an evolving team with some of the finest artists of batsmanship. Here are the few battles that could decide the fate of the match. Live Cricket Scorecard: England vs West Indies, Live Score, 15th T20 Match, Super 10 Group 1

Chris Gayle vs Reece Topley: This could probably be the most enthralling encounter, and the winner of this epic battle will hold a lot of importance for his side. Gayle is known for his prowess with the bat at the top. He can leave a side battered within the first six overs if he gets going. His early dismissal will be the key for England’s success and to do so the right choice will be Reece Topley. The left-arm lanky pace bowler can get the ball to swing which has been a weakness for the maverick southpaw Gayle. The latter is vulnerable to deliveries moving away from him and the pitch at Wankhede is expected to assist the pacers.

Andre Russell vs Ben Stokes: These two have been a boon for their sides as they can contribute with the bat as well as with the ball. If we talk about batting, both the geniuses carry the responsibility of getting quick runs in the middle-order whereas with the ball, both are considered as utility bowlers who can chip in with crucial wickets in their four overs. One can expect these two to clash on a couple of occasions in the entire game. Both, Stokes and Russell have been in terrific form and will be the players to watch out for. England vs West Indies, T20 World Cup 2016, Match 15 at Mumbai: England Likely XI

Dwayne Bravo vs Adil Rashid: Bravo likes to take on the bowlers but has not been equally effective against the leg-spinners. Rashid can get the ball to turn away from the right-hander and this aspect of his bowling could prove difficult for Bravo when he is attempting to clear the big boundary. It will be interesting to see where Bravo bats; if he gets a few overs to play he will surely have to face Rashid.

Joe Root vs Jason Holder: Root has been the spine of English batting attack and his downfall will affect England massively. He likes to play the anchor’s role and build a partnership in the middle. West Indies will hope their talented Holder to bring his best game out and get one through Root.

Eoin Morgan vs Darren Sammy: The conditions at Wankhede would provide some help for the spinners and Moeen Ali has been a utility cricketer for England. English skipper Eoin Morgan can take the game away within a span of few overs but the canny variations of Sammy will test his abilities in the epic encounter. Sammy’s forte is his variations and control, he doesn’t has the required pace to trouble the batsman. He will certainly get himself into the attack when Morgan walks out in the middle to bat. T20 World Cup 2016, England vs West Indies: Eoin Morgan positive before match

Alex Hales vs Samuel Badree: Hales is a force to reckon with in the T20 format, he carries a lot of reputation in such a format. His success at the top means England will be in the driver’s seat. Hales likes to clear the infield in the powerplay overs and put the pressure back on the opposition whereas Badree has been West Indies’ strike bowler. He is a sensation to watch with the new ball, his deliveries kiss the surface and they get immense drift which might create problems for Hales.
