Younis Khan continues to register his name in record books. This time, he completed the set of scoring 150s in all four innings in Test cricket. As listed by Bharath Seervi,he is the seventh to do so.
Pakistan chased down target of 378 to clinch the series 2-1 against Sri Lanka at Pallekele with help of Younis Khan’s 171 not out and Shan Masood’s 125. It was Younis Khan’s fifth century in the fourth innings of a Test, making him the first to do so. It was his first fourth innings 150. He has also scored double centuries in first, second and third innings. READ: Younis Khan is ‘modern world great’ claims David Lloyd
Younis’ highest scores read: in the first innings, 267 against India at Chinnaswamy in 2005; in the second innings, 313 against Sri Lanka at Karachi in 2009; in the third innings, 200* against Zimbabwe at Harare in 2013. He missed on becoming only the second batsman after Sunil Gavaskar to score double centuries in all four innings in Test cricket. Nevertheless, only six batsmen in the history have completed the set of scoring 150+ in all four innings in Test cricket before Younis.
The five others apart from Gavaskar and Younis to achieve this are Don Bradman, Arthur Morris, Gordon Greenidge, Kumar Sangakkara and Graeme Smith. The table below provides the details of the batsmen’s highest scores in each innings of a Test. READ: Younis Khan, Shan Masood create history

200s in three or more separate innings in Test matches
As stated above, Gavaskar is the only batsman to score double centuries in all four innings in Tests. In fact, he scored only four double centuries in his whole test career and they came in distinct innings. He scored 220 in his debut Test series in the third innings at Queen’s Park Oval in 1971, 205 in the first inning at Wankhede in 1978, 221 in the fourth innings at The Oval in 1979 and 236* in the second innings at Chepauk in 1983. Only five batsmen have scored double-centuries in three of the four innings in Tests, four of whom are in the above list — Bradman, Greenidge, Younis and Sangakkara. Their scores are in the table above. The other batsman is Brendon McCullum who scored double centuries in first, second and third innings but his highest score in the fourth is just 85.
Gavaskar scored his four double centuries in distinct innings (first, second, third and fourth). The one to have done the exact opposite (that is, most career hundreds, all in the same innings) is Mohammad Yousuf: all his double-hundreds came in the second innings.
