Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane helped a 70-year-old Australian woman’s dream come true, when he arranged for her the tickets of the first Test at Adelaide.

Louise had applauded the Mumbai batsman when he scored a fifty during the warm-up game. Later on, when interviewed by MiD-DAY, whether she would be attending the first Test at Adelaide, Louise said, “No, I would love to, but to be honest, I don’t know how to book tickets online. I’m not sure how else you can purchase them and with my age, I can’t really stand in the queue for a long time. If I got a ticket, I would like to go because it will be such an emotional day of Test cricket.”

However, ahead of the first Test, on December 9, Louise received a call confirming that a ticket was organised for her by Rahane. She visited the first Test and carried a card to express her gratitude on the second day of the match.
