The second One-Day International (ODI) between England and Australia at Lord’s saw two extreme scenes. When David Warner got retired hurt in the first over of the game after being struck by a rising Steve Finn delivery, the concerned bowler consoled his opponent as he left the field.

A few hours later Ben Stokes was given out ‘obstructing the field’ and he became the first cricketer in One-Day International (ODI) history to be given out so. Stokes deflected a ball with his left glove after a Mitchell Starc shy at the stumps. The Australian appealed and Stokes was ruled by the third umpire to have done so deliberately.

The decision was debated and criticised by the cricket world. We bring you the reactions of Twitter.
