These two have a bit of history. During England’s disastrous Ashes tour Down Under in 2013-14, English journalist Piers Morgan in quest to prove a point to the under fire English batsmen, padded up to the menacing pace of Brett Lee. He wanted to show a way to the English batsmen who were getting bounced out by Mitchell Johnson. [When journalist Piers Morgan padded up to Brett Lee]

The duel took place at the practice nets of Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and a crowd of 5000 witnessed it. It didn’t end well for Morgan, as he ended up bruised and with a broken rib. While some applauded his courage, many criticised this act.

The duo recently caught up again at a cafe and Lee shared the picture of the two on Instagram and assured, “Yes no broken bones this time!” He also added, “Great to see you mate.”

Morgan is a great supporter of Kevin Pietersen and is very vocal about his support. He recently tweeted his support for the batsman on forced exile to which Lee also agreed. [Kevin Pietersen’s absence haunting England’s batting line-up]
