Career change for Kevin Pietersen? ICC takes a dig

One of the greatest shows on earth, the Olympics are underway at Rio in Brazil. And now, cricket’s apex body International Cricket Council (ICC) too have joined in the buzz by taking to their social media account. ICC’s official Twitter handle shared an image where England’s cricketer in exile Kevin Pietersen can be seen taking a shot at archery along with Britain’s archers for the Olympics. ICC took a dig at KP through the caption accompanying the image:

It is notable here that Pietersen lost his place in the English cricket team after fallout with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and his teammates over lack of trust. ICC’s tweet suggested in a sarcastic way perhaps Pietersen must try some other sport in order to represent Britain again. The Olympics, world’s biggest sporting event, shall take place between August 6 and 21 in Brazil.
