West Indies may struggle with their cricket overall but when it comes to the shortest format; they are still the No.1 ranked side. The Darren Sammy-led West Indies won the ICC World T20 in 2012 and once again will get an opportunity to lead in the marquee tournament. West Indies have called up star cricketers Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and suspended off-spinner Sunil Narine for the tournament.
The West Indian squad have 11 players from the side that won the tournament in 2012 in Sri Lanka. Narine, rated one of the best bowlers in the shorter format was suspended in November for a suspect bowling action and has been undergoing remedial work.
